Calista Garcia took a shot at stardom on 'The Voice.' Although she didn't make the show, she's still creating music and her newest original song is called "Kalamazoo."

She couldn't get Blake, Adam, Kelly or John to turn around when she covered Terrence Trent D'Arby's "Wishing Well" on the blind auditions for 'The Voice,' but Calista Garcia is still pursuing the dream. Her music is a blend of folk, rock and blues, and the talented musician plays guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, mandolin and harmonica.

On her YouTube channel, you'll find covers of "Tainted Love," Queen, the Rolling Stones, Cat Stevens' "Wild World," America and Ozzy Osbourne(!) plus a few original songs. The newest is titled "Kalamazoo," it's a song of a love lost.

Why you gotta go and leave me in my blues?

I wanna run all the way to Kalamazoo

I wanna shoot, shoot, baby- break your heart in two

I wanna run all the way to Kalamazoo

Listen to the entire song in the video embedded below. FYI: It's just over 600 miles from Calista's home city of Arlington, Virginia to Kalamazoo.
