Kalamazoo's historic State Theatre knows how much you've been missing live shows. That's why they are bringing special Livestream shows straight to your living room. Think about it... a great live show and no line for the bathroom or bar? I'd say that's a win-win.

Join Kalamazoo State Theatre for Stuart MacDonald. Magician. Entertainer. Winner of Penn and Teller Fool Us. MacDonald will bring his amazing talents to the State Theatre stage Thursday, October 22nd; 7:30pm go. An International Champion and People’s Choice winner, this seasoned professional will perform as "Richard Preston" for this show, “Richard Preston’s Cocktail Capers”. Described as "a cross between Forrest Gump and Austin Powers," the show follows the absurd (and hilarious) scenario of a Mid-century magician who was cryogenically frozen in 1962, not to be thawed until 2062... however, he ends up waking up in 2020, a year I think we'd all like to forget about. It's stories. It's magic. And, it's interactive! And if you're thinking that it's going to be a grainy, one-camera shot from the balcony, don't fret. The show will be shot with a professional three camera set-up so you are right on stage for all the action. Tickets are $31, or treat yo'self and get the Livestream and DVD bundle for $48.

To watch this incredible show from the comfort of your favorite recliner, simply purchase the Zoom link, and settle down with a deck of cards and a glass of water... for a trick, not to drink.

Tickets go on sale at 11:00, Friday, September 11th. For more information, or to purchase tickets, click here!
