Michigan Police Are Asking Truckers To Help Stop Human Trafficking On I-94

Michigan State Police are asking truckers to keep their eyes open for human trafficking on our roads.

"Michigan State Police Lt. Dale Hinz is calling on truckers who travel to places the rest of us don’t see to act as the eyes and ears of Michigan’s highways, by looking for signs of human trafficking.

Police are handing out pamplets of information for what to look for on the roads.

”I-94 is a huge thoroughfare between Chicago and Detroit and it can be a huge mechanism for human trafficking so that is why this initiative is a force multiplier for us," said Hinz."
