A mysterious man caught on video saving dog from burning house.

This happened just after 5PM last Saturday in White House, TN.  This is a serious fire and this guy is a serious animal lover.

According to WSMV.com, "As the fire burned, a man watching the flames eat away at the house made a split-second decision that saved the dog from almost certain death.

The video was shot by Jimmy Nichols, a well-known keyboard player who has backed up artists from Reba McIntyre to Faith Hill.

"This guy in a gray Mustang pulls up says, ‘I do this for a living,’ and he runs in and he comes out about two minutes later with this beautiful dog in his arms, and it was incredible to see,” said Nichols.

But just as fast as this man appeared, he was gone.

“He got in his car and he left; it was so weird, he just took off," said Nichols.

The dog was left with friends and neighbors.

"Literally 30 seconds after that guy got out, that roof collapsed,” said Nichols.

It was like a scene out of a movie, leaving neighbors shocked and wanting answers about who this man is. They want to thank him.

"He's got the love and respect of this whole community,” said Nichols."
