The Kalamazoo Growlers have launched a new reading program for kids and it's seriously coming in handy for kids, and for their parent who are working from home currently. The program is free for parents and students to participate and Growlers staff will provide all the necessary materials, including the prizes, and posters. All the parents have to do is create and track their students’ goals, the Growlers take care of everything else.

The way the program works is, the students are rewarded for the more books they read. All students who reach the last goal get rewarded with one FREE ticket to the Kalamazoo Growlers game on Saturday, June 12th at 6:35 pm. Their website offers the form to fill out and provides the followings steps for the program, and all the goals/prizes provided by the Growlers:

Step 1: Each parent sets 4 custom goals for their students. For each goal students reach, they get a prize from the Growlers and a prize from one of our sponsors. Goals get more challenging as the student progresses.
Step 2: The program kicks off and students’ goals are tracked in their home using the provided poster.
Step 3: Students are given prizes for each goal they reach.
Step 4: Students who reach goal 4 earn a FREE Growlers ticket redeemable for a variety of Kalamazoo Growlers home games.
