Game Night with your friends and family has become an increasingly popular way to entertain, which is a great break from staring at screens all day. I remember during the holidays, our cousins would always start up a game of Clue, or Trivial Pursuit after dinner at our grandparents' house.

But sometimes you need to try something news, but don't want to spend a bunch of money on a new game that you might only play once or twice. Enter, the Kalamazoo Game Library, where you can literally check out board and card games like a book in a standard library.

Kalamazoo Game Library has some of the best, and most curious board and card games to borrow, and there's some classics as well.

A few of the older ones I recognize are "Axis & Allies," "Hues and Cues," and "Scattergories," which was another favorite in our household during the holidays.

But it's not just for classic board game lovers. There are plenty of new games in their library. One very popular game is the "Oregon Trail," which is now a card game, with a few variations as well, based on the old Computer games. Those who enjoy adventure and "battle" card games, the classic "Munchkin" is in their library, too.

In all, the Kalamazoo Game Library has dozens, upon dozens of games to choose from, but it is possible that the one YOU are looking for might not be there. Not to worry.

"One of the main reasons we're doing this service is to increase the amount of games we have to offer in our library. If you have a specific game in mind, let us know, and we'll see about adding it into our collection."

The process to check out a game is easy, visit their website, peruse their library, and pick the games you would like to check out. Then, arrange for the pickup time.

They also offer Youtube video series on HOW to play some of the games if you're not sure.

So if you're in need for a fun night with your friends and family, and maybe don't have a great selection of games, or maybe you wanna try something new, this is the way to go.
