The biggest burrito I've ever seen was made for me in San Francisco in 2003. Since then, very few burritos have come close to defeating me, but when you take a look at the size and girth of the burritos at Big Burrito in Holland, you know you're in for a challenge. More people will now be able to face down said challenge, as Big Burrito has moved and is open in their new location. The old storefront at 3006 W. Shore Drive could only seat about 80 people, but after moving into the former Johnny Carino's building at 3015 W. Shore Drive, they can seat 240.

This will no doubt mean good things for business and for people who are fans of the Mexican restaurant but had a hard time getting in before. The other location at 917 Washington Ave was the newest location before the move was taking place, and has already seen lots of business. Also, The Fat Burrito has their own food challenge. The challenge is to eat their 4 lb. 15 oz. Macho Burrito, but the time limit is the real killer...

The record for eating the burrito is 4 minutes and 40 seconds. I'm sorry, I just don't know how you don't choke trying to scarf down a burrito the size of a football in such a little amount of time. Fat Burrito isn't the only Mexican restaurant expanding however, as Torti Taco in Battle Creek also announced their expansion, buy opening a Bar & Grill right downtown. The old location will still remained open after the bar & grill opens on 80 W. Michigan Ave.
