Body Insecurities Guys Don’t Care About

I enjoy reading Cosmopolitan because I always feel a little better about myself after reading it.  Even if my horoscope tells me that my week is doomed, I always come out a little more confident.  Here's some random guys' opinions on the subject of body insecurities:

Guys Don't Care "Whether your breasts are the same size."  I have lopsided breasts, your mom has lopsided breasts, even women who have implants had lopsided breasts. "They're breasts. It gives them character."

Guys Don't Care "If you use his bathroom."  This one is terrifying.  "It's fine. It's not as if we're standing there with our ear pressed up against the door trying to hear what you're doing in there. Everyone goes to the bathroom."  Maybe you don't have your ear up against the door but we are going to assume that you do.  I will talk with my mouth full, burp, even pick a wedgie around my guy, but that is one thing I feel my guy does not need to experience.

Guys Don't Care "If you're sweating.  Did you go to the gym and you're sweating because you just ran five miles? That's the expected result. If you didn't sweat, that would be weird, because it would mean you're a reptile in a person's body."  Yeah, random dudes, I guess you're right.

Guys Don't Care About "Zits. They're gross but everyone gets them, so it's not like we don't know what's up. Yeah, you got a zit on your face because you ate pizza. We feel you."  Yeah but what if my face looks like a pizza!?  I've always struggled with acne, but like my mom always said, "hey, there's always makeup."

Guys Don't Care About "Jiggling. Jiggling is almost always a good thing. It might be uncomfortable and make you self-conscious, but we have a very different take on it."  Society makes this almost impossible to truly believe but, the older I get the more comfortable I am in my own skin. I'm positive it's the same for most women.

Guys Don't Care About "Freckles, birthmarks, etc. Stop acting like you are the first person in the world with a giant birthmark on your leg."  What about gigantic feet?

Guys Don't Care About "Any fat rolls anywhere. Most people have that spot on their love handles or stomach or wherever that they just can't seem to shape up unless they spend eight hours at the gym every day."  Refer back to "Jiggling."
