Andy Dominianni Said Goodbye Tuesday Night
Andy Dominianni is taking a break from TV while he battles a neurological disease.
Tuesday Evening standing next to long time colleague Keith Thompson, Andy Dominianni said goodbye to his West Michigan audience. Maybe it's more of a 'see you later' than a 'goodbye.'
Andy, who has been a part of the fabric of West Michigan since the 90's, is taking a break from the WWMT Newschannel 3 anchor desk to fight Spasmodic Dysphonia. According to John Hopkins Medicine,
Spasmodic dysphonia is a voice disorder. It causes involuntary spasms in the muscles of the voice box or larynx. This causes the voice to break, and have a tight, strained, or strangled sound. ...Spasmodic dysphonia is a life-long condition.
If you missed the moment live Tuesday Night, here's a clip WWMT posted on their facebook page.
We wish Andy nothing but love and strength as he fights this disease and look forward to seeing him back on Channel 3 very soon!
