This extreme reaction to road rage is incredibly disturbingOn December 27th witnesses not only saw a man assaulting a woman, but caught it on video.

According to Mlive, the attack took place in the parking lot of 1 Stop Food Store off Richfield Road in Genesee Township. Witnesses claim they heard a horn honk, then people yelling, then they saw a 68 year old man from Davidson attack a woman.

I could see the woman yelling through the window. Next think you know the guy starts slamming this girl against her vehicle and punching her in the face.

For fear of their own safety witnesses announced that they were calling the police, but that didn't seem to stop the man from punching the woman in the face.

Genesee Township Police Lt. Robert Watters stated that...

It’s believed the incident began over a traffic dispute, with the man allegedly honking at the woman as she waited to pull out of the gas station’s parking lot and onto Richfield Road. She then made a finger gesture at the man from her vehicle and “he got mad.” They got into a verbal disagreement that led to the physical altercation of her being assaulted.

When police were able to speak to the victim she had visible injuries and they had the attack on video.

The suspect, who has not yet been arraigned, was issued an appearance ticket for assault and battery. The attacker is  expected to appear on Jan. 16 in Genesee District Court.
