Woodward elementary schools 5th graders are fired up and ready to help raise money for Roofsit 2017

On Friday afternoon, Tess Taylor and Heather McGregor attended a prep rally at Woodward elementary to kick Change for Kids Campaign.

"The week of April 24-29 (and maybe the following week), our students will be collecting change. It all adds up, but what is more important is that we are working to help stop and prevent child abuse in our community."

Woodward elementary has stayed true too their mission statement, and has wonderful young people who are going out of their way to help other kids, they don't even know!

All the money collected will go to the Community Health Center ter. Communityhealingcenter.com describes what the Community Health Center does for our community.

"Our Children's Advocacy Center offers compassionate, specialized care for children who are victims of sexual or physical abuse. We provide individual counseling for child victims and their non-offending family members, family therapy, and support groups for parents. Children in therapy learn to deal with their anger, shame and guilt of being a victim of abuse."

Roofsit happens at the corner of Westnedge and Milham on May 18th, 19th and 20th. We look forward to seeing you there!
