Driving home from work this week I saw a couple of things that got the wheels chugging in my brain. The first was earthmoving equipment across Gull Road beginning the demolition process on what was the Gull Road Automotive station.

I reached out to our audience to ask what they thought some of the scariest intersections in Kalamazoo were and I have to admit they're right.

Recently, there has been a lot of clear cutting going on on the south west corner of H Ave. and Sprinkle rd. They are pouring an entrance off H Ave.

Other people started to pop in, including the bus driver involved in the situation who gave her detailed account

There was one farm house in particular that caught my eye, because it had a giant water slide in it's back end

I am sure this area was "paved with good intentions", but we know where that road goes.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has reopened the I-94 ramps at Sprinkle Road in Kalamazoo.

Mother Nature hasn't signed off on the official opening of the construction project at Sprinkle Rd and I-94. The final pieces of the project, the highway entrance and exit ramps were to be open on Wednesday (Nov. 18th) But M-DOT tweeted today that the incoming heavy rain on Tuesday and Wednesday may delay everything by a few days.

We're just weeks away from the Sprinkle Road round-a-bouts. The Michigan State Police posted a You Tube video a few years ago, and tweeted it out again today. Judging at the potential mess this will be, start studying now.
