I'm very exciting to welcome my favorite comedian on the planet, Stephen Lynch, to the KFR studio Friday Morning.

I stumbled across "Comedy Central Presents: Stephen Lynch" about 15 years ago.  I was an instant fan!  His brand of highly inappropriate humor and incredible singing voice was my jam.

A couple years later I purchased his concert DVD "Live at the El Rey."  I've watched it a million times.  I've actually owned multiple copies of it.  I keep giving copies to my friends...forcing Stephen Lynch on people I care about.

Since then I've seen him in concert in Indianapolis, Bloomington and Kalamazoo.

Speaking of Kalamazoo, I moved back to my stomping grounds just 2 years ago after travelling the US to further my radio career.  Imagine my surprise when I found out my favorite freakin' comedian, Stephen Lynch, went to Western!  WHAAAAAA?

Stephen Lynch with Dana Marshall early one morning in 2014.

June 5th, 2014, Lynch wrapped up his Lion tour by performing 2 shows at the Little Theater in Kalamazoo.   Out of those hilarious shows he put together his latest special called, "Hello, Kalamazoo."  I would like to point out that he released "Hello, Kalamazoo" on my birthday...coincidence?

Aside from having one of Comedy Central's highest rated specials, "Live at the El Ray" and his new "Hello, Kalamazoo;" Lynch also starred in the Broadway musical "The Wedding Singer" in 2006.
