More Marketplace Marvels In Kalamazoo

One of the best things about Facebook, especially during a pandemic, is that you have the ability to basically go garage sale-ing without actually having to go in person. I find most of the stuff listed on the Facebook Marketplace to actually be handy or valuable for most people. If you ever need anything for your house or yard, there usually seems to be something of good quality for a good price listed on it. If you follow it daily you can actually find some sweet deals before they get sold.

But lately I've been keeping my eye on some of the off the wall, fun, goofy and strange things for sale that people often list. This weekly scavenger hunt for the oddest things in our area has paid off as I deliver 3 more unique, odd and interesting things that are listed right now on the Kalamazoo Markeplace. That is, if it hasn't been sold by the time you read this:

1. Super Cool Desk Thingy- $3

Now who can resist the ultimate sales-pitch of the "Super Cool Desk Thingy?" Seriously, that's what it's listed as. Perhaps Scuttle from The Little Mermaid listed this item. As you move / flip the Super Cool Desk Thingy, the fun stuff inside moves about like a lava lamp. For $3, that's a steal.

2. Big Mouth Billy Bass- $20

Oh man, this one really takes me back. I think my Dad had one of these, and what a perfect time to re-gift this legendary novelty item just before Father's Day. This sweet baby was made in 1999, works great, and sings and dances to two different songs. Can't miss.

3. Simon Darth Vader Game- $8

Alright now this is what I'm talking about. Everybody loves the memory game Simon, except this one comes in the form of Darth Vader. Plus, if you screw it up and lose, you won't even be force choked. The listing has 2 available, $8 for each or $15 for both. May the force be with you.
