It is not all business for Mark Wahlberg when he visits Michigan.

Over the past few days Mark Wahlberg has been enjoying the great state of Michigan, and encouraging Amazon to make their second headquarters in the mitten state. Mark is currently taking his own advice and opening a second Wahlburgers Restaurant in Royal Oak and is also creating a third restaurant in Taylor.

Between all of his business dealings, Mark made time to stop by Beaumont Children's Hospital to visit the kids and staff.

Mlive.com quoted Mark speaking on why he took time to visit Beaumont Hospital...

"I've been so blessed and fortunate, so if I can kind of put a smile on somebody's face, let them know we are praying for them, and thank all these wonderful men and women who have dedicated their lives helping people, it's amazing."

And smile they did! Mark even gave one young patient the hat off his head, and a ton of hugs for everyone! During the visit Mark told reporters...

"I absolutely love Detroit. When I first came here to make a movie, I was like, wow, what a great experience. I was on some TV show and they asked me where I was, and I said Detroit. They said, oh, sorry about that. I said what are you talking about? It's one of the most amazing places I've ever been and I can't wait to get back. It's very much like Boston. Good, hard working people. Very family-orientated."

Mark and his family our welcome here in Michigan anytime they wish, we are lucky to have them!
