School is back in session and unfortunately, that means that there are a few towns in Michigan that may see a large amount of drunk driving in the area, as there is a list of the top party schools in the country, that a few Michigan schools have found themselves on.

Now for the student looking for a good time, that may sound awesome. But for the unsuspecting pedestrian or driver who has to avoid drunk driving it may be a dangerous place to be. Hopefully by now, people understand to call a ride-share service, or make plans to get home safe, but you can never predict when someone will drive drunk.

Niche.com recently graded the top party schools in the country and it turns out Lansing and Ann Arbor may be in for some drunk drivers, as Michigan State University landed at #18 on the list, while the University of Michigan made #32.

Apparently, drunk driving may not only be an issue in the area, but according to one parent, MSU wasn't the best experience for her daughter according to a review left on the site:

My daughter paid $20,646 each semester, that's including housing + meal plan, and there's a $170 recreational & wellness center per semester. Unfortunately, my daughter did get injured 2 times, each time, they told my daughter to go to Urgent Care. She's been told that you are only allowed 3 visits per year, you will need to make appointments, and there might be an extra charge when you are seen. She was not offered anything, like a bandage, cold compress, or Tylenol, etc.

This of course is just one person's experience, but regardless, be safe this Fall, and please make smart decisions that won't cost you or someone else their life.
