Heartfelt Farewell As Beloved Three Rivers Café Closes
Three Rivers has unfortunately lost a staple coffee shop in L.A.’s Coffee Café, which announced late last week that after 25 years in business, it would be shutting down.
In an emotional Facebook post, they shared the news that the café would be closing. Although LA‘s coffee Café is going to be closing, the owners did leave an open door, saying that they would not be disappearing and hope that their paths cross with the community once again.

After more than 25 years in this business, it’s time for me to step away and begin a new chapter. It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me. I’ve been lucky to work with incredible people, build lasting relationships, and be part of something I truly care about.
As they continued, they took the time to thank everyone who has been a part of the L.A.'s Coffee Cafe's journey:
To my old employees and customers: thank you. You’ve been the reason I’ve shown up every day with purpose. The laughs, the challenges, and the teamwork over the years have shaped not only my career but also who I am as a person.
This Isn't Goodbye
With that open-ended goodbye, that could mean that they plan on opening something else, possibly in the future.
No Need To Worry, Chilis Will Remain In Portage
As for the current location, it seems that a brand new café will open up in its place, as on their final day of operations, they introduced the new owner, Tina, who purchased all of their assets and will be starting their new business.
So it’s quite possible that we could be seeing a new café open up. As for Leslie, Anne, Jerry, and Aimee, we will have to wait and see what the future holds.
