Heart Coming To Michigan With New Tour, Joan Jett To Open

Heart is hitting the road for the first time in three years. Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson released dates that include a stop in Michigan. The 2019 Love Alive tour will also have fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Joan Jett & The Blackhearts set to open.

Heart will be at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston on Monday, August 5 along with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Elle King as openers. Tickets go on sale on Friday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m. with tickets starting at $29.50.

"Both Nancy and I have stretched our wings in life these last three years. We’ve both lived and loved. We have breathed and traveled and experienced life. We come to this tour with fresh energy and oxygen," said Ann. "It will be unlike any other Heart tour that has been. Some of the songs will be classic of course, but this tour will be a new animal," said Ann Wilson in a release.

“I think the tour will spark some positive new energy as we rediscover some of our iconic songs and also some fan favorites,” said Heart’s Nancy Wilson.

Other nearby stops include Chicago on July 11 and Indianapolis on August 7. The 39-city tour will kick off on July 9 in St. Louis and will conclude in Hollywood, CA on September 9.
