Do You Want To Build A Snow Globe? KPL Will Show You How
Kalamazoo Public Library is holding a workshop for teens to create snow globes. Start a collection or give a unique DIY gift.
They are so simple, yet so mesmerizing. Anyone can operate a snow globe, just turn it upside down, the right-side up; shaking is optional. No batteries required. Ah, but what is inside is important and just how do they get that stuff in there anyway? Teens in grades 6-12 will have a chance to find out and create their own DIY snow globe at the Oshtemo branch of Kalamazoo Public Library.
- DIY Snow Globes
- Tuesday, Dec. 10 | 5:30- 6:30 pm
- Kalamazoo Public Library, Oshtemo 7265 W Main St Kalamazoo
- Registration is FREE but required for students grades 6-12
So, let your inspiration be Olaf, Elsa or good ol' Frosty and make your very first snow globe. Be careful, it could start an obsession, Wendy Suen holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of snow globes with 4,059.
