West Main Takes Another Step To Becoming Westnedge

With the announcement of a $100 Million dollar project to be built just off West Main and US 131, the West Main corridor took another step towards becoming another Westnedge Avenue. According to MLive, this mixed-use commercial development will be just north of TGI Friday's and the Kalamazoo Ten, and west of Summer Ridge Apartments, on Maple Hill Drive.

The developer's goal is to have multiple restaurants, hotels and several box stores. The first phase of construction should begin after governmental approval from various local authorities.
