This year we celebrate 25 years since an all time classic film, A League Of Their Own hit theaters. The film, which chronicles the All American Girls Baseball League during WWII was spearheaded by a strong female cast featuring Michigan native Madonna, Rosie O'Donnell,Gena Davis as well as Tom Hanks.

Every day, more women step forward to join the growing chorus of those who were sexually assaulted or harassed by Harvey Weinstein. The famed Hollywood executive has been accused of abusing his power to victimize dozens of women, but each new, horrible story is matched by another celebrity essay or social media post denouncing Weinstein and offering support to the (seemingly) countless number of women who survived him. We can now add Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson, Ryan Gosling (and more) to the list of their supporters.

In all the talk of SNL Season 42's breakout year and political impressions, poor David Pumpkins seems like a world gone-by. Tom Hanks briefly resurrected the character for the finale, but the actor might now be teasing a full return in Season 43. Any questions?
