Perseid meteor shower

Michigan residents can save the date to catch the year's most powerful meteor shower show that will soon illuminate the sky in the Great Lakes State.

The peak of the Perseid Meteor showers should be starting about Wednesday. What makes this one extra special is that the sky will be practically moonless, thus very dark.
