As we ring in the new year, a couple of new laws you might have forgotten about will be taking effect in Michigan. But, don't worry, they're both positive.
Starting January 1st, those who commit crimes such as Aggravated Battery, Aggravated DUI, Aggravated Fleeing, Burglary, Arson, Drug-Induced Homicide, Intimidation, Kidnapping, Robbery, 2nd-Degree Murder, and Threatening a public officer could be back amongst the public without posting bail.
Last year, Michigan approved a bill that says if the government were to ever do away with Daylight Savings Time, then we would stop turning the clocks.
