The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has reopened the I-94 ramps at Sprinkle Road in Kalamazoo.

Mother Nature hasn't signed off on the official opening of the construction project at Sprinkle Rd and I-94. The final pieces of the project, the highway entrance and exit ramps were to be open on Wednesday (Nov. 18th) But M-DOT tweeted today that the incoming heavy rain on Tuesday and Wednesday may delay everything by a few days.

Eastbound I-94 is closed at Exit 60 due to a multi-vehicle pile up that happened at 2:30 today.

Road construction may have been a factor in this accident involving two semis on I-94 Westbound between Mattawan and Paw Paw.

Showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for the next few days have postponed the demotion of the Cork St. Bridge over I-94. The demolition work would have caused a series of timed shut downs of the entire highway.
