According to the Southwest Enforcement Team, authorities were tipped off that the drugs were being delivered, leading to them conducting a traffic stop on the suspect around 5pm Tuesday on I-94 near Marshall.
Just before midnight Tuesday a 32-year-old Battle Creek woman approached a police officer, and said she had been given two suspicious $100 bills. She told officers that she went to a gas station with the money, and the clerk told her it was counterfeit.
The USPS says that for Michigan ZIP codes that begin with 486 to 499 and Detroit codes 480 to 485, no mail will be delivered Wednesday, January 30. That includes Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and most of their surrounding areas.
