“Missed Connections” in British? How About “Downton Abbey” in American?

Pure coincidence, but I just finished watching this clip of the Downton Abbey cast reading their dialogue with American accents, and then I saw the post about Tess wanting to do Missed Connections in British. Either way, a tad bizarre.

Downton Abbey is wrapping up it's run with this upcoming final series. It's become quite the cult hit on Public Television. The same could be said for Missed Connections with Will and Tess.

There's something about the British accent that just makes anything sound classy. And vice-versa, the cast doing it in American takes all that away.
