Trump’s Acetaminophen Claim Raises Eyebrows Among Medical Experts
Monday, in a very bizarre press conference, President Donald Trump made a wild accusation, saying that women should not take acetaminophen during pregnancy, as he suggested that there is a link between that drug being used during pregnancy and an autism diagnosis for that baby later in their life.
The study of autism has yielded no results, even though many studies have taken place, and a local OB/GYN from the University of Michigan-Health West, Dr. Brad Irving, says that there are new reports from the federal government that do not directly link the drug, which is commonly used in Tylenol, to autism.

When it comes to the use of the drug while pregnant, Dr. Irving is urging people to listen to actual experts who have gone to school and trust in professionals:
First thing I would say is, don't panic. The practice of women's health with obstetrics, midwifery, those who have been medically trained who follow the research, follow the data. We go through a lot of effort to try to provide medically accurate information to our patients to best care for their health of the mom and their child.

The AP recently published the video on YouTube of the press conference, and, as you can imagine, there are many people who are very upset with what they are seeing and with what they heard
As a parent of a child with Autism and having been in education for 30 years working with young people, to listen to those 5 ill-informed, ignorant, and destructive comments is not only disgusting but totally destructive. They are in charge of health care!?
