You hate to see a great local establishment closing down, especially when they provide a fun and unique service. That's what's unfortunately happening to Jameson's Irish Pub & Dueling Piano Bar in Brighton,.Michigan. Dueling piano bars are awesome because they give the people attending the show a chance to be a part of it and always provide a fun night of music.

The owners Tony & Heidi, who have owned the bar since they opened 5 years ago, recently took to Facebook to announce the reason behind the closure and how you can continue to support the piano bar until they close for good at their current location:

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Jameson’s last day of business will be Sunday, June 30, 2024. We tried to negotiate a new lease but the owner of the building has decided to go in another direction. We are both deeply saddened by this turn of events and want to thank you for your patronage over these past five years. Many dear friendships were formed and many wonderful memories made – all will be remembered and cherished. With our deepest appreciation and gratitude, Tony & Heidi
Already, regulars of the bar are chiming in sharing their love before the closing date:
This sucks! My favorite place in downtown Brighton. They have great food & love the waitstaff too. I have celebrated many parties as well as great St. Patricks Day celebrations too. Just no other place around the area compares. Definitely going as many times as possible before the doors close.
Hopefully, they'll be able to find a new location and Jameson's can eventually return.
