The American band that was playing on stage in a Paris theater during the tragic terrorist attack released their first public statement yesterday.

They said, quote, "While the band is now home safe, we're horrified and still trying to come to terms with what happened in France . . .

"We'd like to thank the French police, the FBI, the U.S. and French State Departments, and especially all those at ground zero with us who helped each other as best they could during this unimaginable ordeal, proving once again that love overshadows evil."

My heart goes out to all of the survivors and family members of those who didn't make out of this tragic event alive.

I'm so glad so many positive messages are coming out of Paris over the last few days.
