For me, Neil Brady is unforgettable.

Being a fan of hockey I was thrilled to attend as many K-wing games as possible. Of course as a fan you develop a liking for certain players, my favorite was Neil Brady. I watched him play many games, then through friends was introduced to the 6'2 Canadian. He had a sense of humor and could throw a good punch on the ice.

Known as an "Enforcer", Hhof.com reported on Neil's career...

Centre Neil Brady was a junior standout whose NHL career was relatively shortlived. Possessing good size and excellent playmaking talents, he spent most of his pro career in the minors where he was fairly successful.

Before coming to Kalamazoo Brady spent sometime with the NHL teams the New Jersey Devils, the Ottawa Senators and the Dallas Stars. Brady played for the K-Wings from 1993 until 1997 when he then headed off to Utah to play for the Grizzles.

Now is a great time to reflect on K-Wings that you enjoyed watching take the ice and just maybe your favorite will be back in the rink. Kwings.com has a fun evening planned for any hockey ran!

The K-Wings will honor the past on Saturday as a part of the 45th Anniversary Game, jersey retirement for Georges Gagnon and Alumni Game. Gagnon, who played for the K-Wings from 1979-87, will have his number one jersey retired in a pregame ceremony.

The puck drops for the  Alumni game at  5:00 pm, and will pit two teams of former K-Wings against each other. Now that will be a game to see, and here are the players taking to the ice!
