In recent years the City of South Haven, along with the South Haven Center for the Arts, have worked to bring more art to the city streets and support local artists in the process.

Local Southwest Michigan artist and ArtPrize 2022 Time-Based Winner, Kristen Zamora’s Embodied project has helped heal people from near and far.

The latest cancellation due to the Covid-19 pandemic is Grand Rapids' ArtPrize. The biennial event, which draws approximately a half million people into downtown Grand Rapids, was scheduled for September 16th through October 4th.
