‘Saturday Night Live’ Introduces Levi’s ‘Woke’ Jeans in Funny Fake Ad [VIDEO]
It’s great to see that everyone is “Woke” nowadays when it comes to various social issues. But Levi’s wants to know, "if you're woke, then why aren't your jeans?" In a funny Saturday Night Live faux-ad, the American apparel company introduces their new creation, the “Woke” jean.
What is the “Woke” jean? It’s a sizeless, style-neutral, gender non-conforming denim for a generation that defies labels. Actor Ryan Gosling, some random kid and fellow SNL cast members showcase the neutral-gender jean that almost looks like Hammer pants.
One of the unique features of the jeans, which comes in only one color #GREB, features a uni-fly that unzips at 180 degrees for easy access in the front and back. How convenient is that?
Another great thing about the "Woke" jeans is that they are not made by poor Indonesian kids in a sweltering factory. Nope. They are made in the U.S. by white kids. How cool is that? We are kidding, of course.
But you get the gist. Levi's "Woke" jeans are for consumers who are socially conscious in their personal lives as well as in their clothes. Anybody can wear them because size doesn't matter.
"Get Woke" and watch the SNL fake ad above.
