This is truly a bittersweet moment for me. I wasn't sure how or what to say this morning when I announced that I am leaving KFR after almost 7 wonderful years.

I have been offered an amazing opportunity for me and my family to move to a larger market doing mornings in Madison, WI. Not only is this a step up for me in my career, but most importantly we are moving to where my step-daughter Raven is living. We felt that this is the time that she really could use her father near her.

I remember the first day I started with Matt Walker back in 2008, and how nervous I was when I cracked opened the microphone. It's always hard in our field of work to be put with someone you never worked with before or have known at all, and then to introduce yourself to the listeners and hope that they will eventually accept you into their lives.

You all have become my family. You have brought me joy, and I will always be grateful to you all.

Will Harvey has become a dear friend of mine and I have had such wonderful times with him. We have had so many laughs and, most importantly, we have remained a great team.

I will always love you and I will always cherish you all.

My last day will be next Tuesday, April 7th, so I would love for you to stop out on-air if you want:)

XOXOX Hugs and Kisses,

Krista Hatcher
