WMU Begins Construction of New Signage, “Wayfinding”

With the start of May, Western Michigan University begins a construction project to improve signage and wayfinding around campus.The point of the project is to improve getting around and the all around experience of being on campus at WMU. Here's some bullet points provided by WMU:

• Improve the experience of navigating the campus
  
• Develop a consistent naming scheme for campus, streets, buildings and landmarks, and that could mean some name changes,
• Some of the most visible changes will be new entrance gateways to the campus,new vehicle and pedestrian signage and new building identification.

The project should be done by that start of the fall semester.
