Yesterday, I had the honor of  representing Townsquare Media Kalamazoo/ Battle Creek radio stations, K-102.5 & 95.3 WBCK as we took part in the Food Bank of South Central Michigan's 'Supermarket Sweep' at Family Fare in Battle Creek. The event is designed to raise awareness and donations for the food bank, which serves eight counties. It's a yearly event and this year I was teamed with Heather McGregor from Marshall & McGregor, Eric Meier, and Bobby Guy, both who you can hear on K102.5.

We showed up 3 minutes late (fashionably,) and the friendly competition had already started. Our sister station, 95.3 WBCK takes winning the event very serious, which led to some friendly scrums during our few minutes of competing. In the end, K 102.5 made it back to back victories for last place receiving the "Wobbly Wheel" award but donated $105 worth of food. 95.3 WBCK took third place, WWMT 3 took second place, and Scene Magazine took home first place. All in all it was a great day to be in radio being able to help out those struggling right now.

You can enjoy this silly video below and relive the classic 90's television show.
