How much cash do you have in your wallet right now? Probably not much, and that's not because of our limping economy.

It's mostly because we just don't carry cash anymore. (I'm raising my hand; that describes me, and infuritates Kathy)  A new study found 80% of us carry less than $50 on a regular basis. 9% never carry cash (which seems low to me). Of course the reason is the convenience of debit and credit cards.

On a scarier note, 27% of Americans do not have emergency savings.
