Over the weekend, I took a trip to the Kalamazoo Valley Museum

I had no idea how cool that place was! Not to mention — it's free!

My girlfriend Kaysie is watching a friend's kids, so we took them there to burn some energy…and I ended up being the one who wanted to play with everything.

There is a part of the museum that features all things made in Kalamazoo — and that's where I saw these beauties (pictured below)!

Did you know? The original Gibson guitar company was in Kalamazoo!

The former Gibson building (located at 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo) is now Heritage Guitar Inc. Heritage Guitars gives free tours at 1 p.m. Wednesdays — just call ahead at (269) 385-5721 to reserve your spot.

So, if you get a chance to get downtown, visit the museum. It's way better than video games!
