Vote, No Thanks! Here’s Why..

It really grinds the gears of some people when they hear I wont vote. They call me irresponsible and uncaring about our country or city. I say wait a second and hear what I have to say...

Most of my time and effort is taken up by work and home, and working at home on stuff for work. I don't have a lot of time on my hands to learn about every issue and every candidate, and I certainly am not going to believe all the bash ads that are on TV. So is it irresponsible of me to NOT vote, or more irresponsible of me TO vote?

I can go in, fill in some bubbles blindly and walk out with an "I Voted" sticker in no time! Then people will say.. "Good For You" and "Way To Go". That is not a good reason for me to go vote for people I don't know anything about. So the option is, vote for people I never heard of, or don't vote. If you ask me, I am doing the responsible thing!
