When Kalamazoo put out a call for volunteers to fill sandbags to help protect property as the city's worst flooding in more than 70 years, here are some of the people who heard the call.

Fox 17's Lauren Edwards visited one of the city's two sandbag filling locations, Edison Neighborhood Association on Washington Ave. A man named Lambo told the reporter he wanted to give back to the community and came to volunteer his time. He estimated he'd filled more than 300 sandbags. Watch the video below to see Lambo and more KPEP and community volunteers who took time out of their day Friday to help neighbors in Kalamazoo facing devastating floods.
