Friday Makynzie, my step daughter, went to spend the weekend with the grandparents. Of course I was nominated to drive her out.

Most of the time we drop her off with Kaysie's dad who works in Grand Rapids. Well as I was leaving and getting ready to jump on 131, I noticed something you really don't see everyday.

Right at the corner where everyone was leaving Meijer, an elderly gentleman was out in the freezing cold playing violin. I feel bad because I didn't have any money on me to give him, but it still put a smile on my face seeing people get out of their cars to give this guy a little change.

I don't know if he really needed it necessarily, or if he was just spreading a little holiday cheer to those leaving a stressful shopping situation, but next time I head that we I will be prepared!
