The St. Joe Lighthouse has frozen over once again and it is a beautiful sight.

With the freezing temps and icy waters washing over the St. Joe Lighthouse, it has frozen up. Believe it or not, you can actually walk on the Pier (if you dare with all that ice).

Built in 1832, it was only the second lighthouse on Lake Michigan. Originally it was a one story building made of stone. According to Stjoelighthouse.com...

"In 1859, a new, two-story lighthouse was built on the bluff of the city of St. Joseph, MI and is considered St. Joe’s first Federal lighthouse. The Red Cross took over the original St. Joe lighthouse in 1924, and from that point until 1955, the structure served as the headquarters for the Red Cross."

Photographer Joshua Nowicki suited up with the proper gear and ventured out on the pier to photograph this amazing sight.
