Here are several New Year's Eve events happening in or near Kalamazoo this year

Chances are you're not going out to celebrate 2021. There are one or two events planned but for the most part, with indoor dining shutdown, and just with people being careful, this is the perfect year to find a great movie and cuddle up, or if you have kids, to get everyone in their pajamas, pop some pop corn, and watch and laugh until the little ones conk out.

Well we can't out weird those two states but we can out-cool them with the list of things we've been known to drop. Some of the events are put on hold or are changed this year to accommodate for social distancing, but I'm hopeful we'll be gathered next New year's Eve in 2021 to have some fun

Looking for live music to ring in the New Year?

I see posts on the internet all the time about how "Detroit Is Coming Back" just because they built a few nice stadiums and a couple people did some charity events. Sadly, I feel like these events or happenings are outshined by the outcry of the community itself. Detroit is far from being "back".

The end of 2017 brings the chance for Michiganders to see the first New Years Eve ball to be dropped in Allegan and the largest in the State.
