The only info we have to share with you on this frightening case of attempted murder is what we can gather from watching the surveillance video that was just released by the Sterling Heights Police Department.  Click here to see that video.

In the video you see a woman walking out to her SUV in the parking lot of an apartment complex.  She appears to recognize a truck across the parking lot as she's getting into her vehicle.  Just as she attempts to back out the pick up truck pulls into her path and a man hops out and opens fire on her.  She is able to quickly drive away.  The shooter jumps into his truck to pursue her.

This terrifying moment gets even more distressing as the victim's SUV drives back into view of the camera.  Just as the woman flees her vehicle to run into an apartment, the shooter quickly pulls up.  You can hear the woman say, "I've been shot" a couple times.  The shooter quickly drove off.

This incident took place Saturday, November 28th just before Noon.  The victim was clearly the target of a planned attack but no information has been released about the investigation at this time.  Sterling Heights Police Department is asking for help in this case on Facebook,

Anyone having information on this vehicle or the shooter we ask that they call detective St. Onge. At 586-446-2866
