If you have recently bought children's shoes at Meijer, you may want to check the type of shoe you have as there has been a recall.

According to WOOD TV 8,  Skidders Footwear is recalling about 5,500 of their active shoes as they have rivets with sharp edges that may cause injury.

The shoes being recalled were sold recently at stores and were sold in three sizes, 12M, 18M and 24M.  They also featured three different colors with different colored laces.

You can return them for a refund either by calling 866-636-1221 between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.  You can also visit the manufacturers website for more information.
