Olivet’s Joseph MacInnes is This Week’s 103.3 KFR/Meijer H.S. Athlete of the Week

"He's a loyal and supportive team captain who leads his team with confidence and is a great teacher for the underclassmen on the team."

Those are the words of Corinne MacInnes, who nominated her brother Joseph to be the 103.3 KFR/Meijer H.S. athlete of the week.

Joseph is a senior at Olivet and team captain for the Olivet boys soccer team.

"He treats his teammates like family, and whether they win or lose, he always shows great sportsmanship." says Corinne. "That being said, he can take a shot on goal like a surgeon performing open heart surgery."

Off the pitch, Joseph is a fine student-athlete. A member of the National Honor Society, 4H, track and field, cross country, Battle Creek Math and Science Center, straight A student, along with basketball homecoming court for 2013.
