Michigan high schools have been overwhelmed with food deliveries to students.  So...

they're putting a stop to them all together.

Students from Michigan high schools and grade schools have been ditching school lunches for delivery from numerous restaurants with apps like Uber Eats, Grubhub and DoorDash.

The problem isn't just a major disruption with multiple deliveries a day.  It is a safety concern.  There's not a state-wide ban on food delivery at schools in Michigan at this point.  However, school districts all over the state are changing or creating new policy as we speak.  Get more on schools banning food delivery from the Detroit Free Press.

Side note: if students are ordering food at this rate in both high school and grade school, what else are they doing on their phones while they should be doing school work?
