Michigan Man Chokes Mother Over Justin Bieber Lyrics

Song lyrics cause an altercation between a mother and son in Michigan, leading to an arrest.

According to record-eagle, a 21-year-old man and his mother from Grand Traverse County were driving on U.S. 31 North when the altercation started.  A Justin Bieber song came on the radio and the argument began over an argument about the lyrics to one of his songs.

The woman, who was driving, pulled over during the argument. She then climbed into the back seat to tell her son not to be disrespectful in front of his 70-year-old grandmother, who was also in the car along with a 17-year-old girl.  The woman told deputies the man choked her and then got out of the car.

The 21-year-old was arrested and taken to Grand Traverse County Jail.
