Yesterday, as I was leaving the house in Kalamazoo to go pick up my daughter from daycare, I was backing up my car and hit my snow bank. I was stuck!

I got out of my car and went into the garage to grab a shovel. As I walked back to my car, I saw my neighbor, who lives a few houses down, snow blowing his drive way. He must have seen me, as I struggled for 20 minutes, trying to shovel myself out.

When I tried reversing and pulling forward, I still had no luck. Now, my car was stuck half in my driveway and half in the street. I said to myself, "Why doesn't he help me?"

It was already 5:30 p.m., and I had to pick up Gia. So, I turned my car off, got out, shut the door and locked it. I left my car sitting there — halfway in the street — and I walked to my daughter's daycare.

Who does that? Grrrr. Has anybody else had an experience like this?
