It's been a roller coaster year of emotions for the Kalamazoo Growlers this season. From the impressive 11 game winning streak they had in June, to thrilling walk-off victories, and even hosting the Northwoods League's All Star Game in their 25th season with 4 players apart of the game; this year just got a little more magical.

For the first time in the team's 5 year run, they have reached the playoffs. The magic number had been decreasingly getting closer to a clinch. Yesterday they finally hit their magic number and sealed the deal. This weekend marks the team's regular season end, wrapping it all up with 4 straight home games, followed by two days of divisional playoff games Monday and Tuesday.

The end of the Growlers' baseball season will determain if there will be any home games in the playoffs, but as it stands now if they make it to the Summer Collegiate World Series, they would most likely host the deciding Game 3 in Kalamazoo, if nessesary.  #BewareTheBear
