In Grand Junction, a small town near South Haven, a man barricaded himself with a gun inside his home as the Michigan State Police attempted to talk to him.

According to WWMT,

Michigan State Police say the suspect, who sources have identified to Newschannel 3 as Jason Kohlhoff, initiated multiple exchanges of gunfire with officers.

The incident started early Tuesday Morning according to MLive,

Caswell said Detective Sgt. Matt Doan went to the man's home Tuesday morning to talk with him and the man apparently came out with a long gun, which he fired. He then went back into the house.

After 17 hours and many rounds fired from both sides the standoff ended around 4:30 AM with the suspect in custody and no injuries.
